Did you know that you can set up email marketing systems, quickly and easily? And did you also know that if you don’t have one going, almost from day 1, that you have lost a bundle? It’s true. You’re totally missing the boat.

First, you need to get an autoresponder service. There are several to choose from, including AWeber, iContact, Get Response, Mail Chimp, and many others. Find one that has great deliverability because if the service doesn’t have that, nobody sees your messages, and it’s going to be a waste of your time.

Once you have settled on a good service, the next item in email marketing systems is your squeeze page. This is nothing more than a page that has a headline, three or five bullet points, and an optin form, which you get at the autoresponder. After you have that put together, install in your page on  a hosting account, which will be another service that’s critical.

Like autoresponders, there are many hosting services on the Web. You should be able to pay around $10 a calendar month and get a very reliable service. But beware of very low-cost services. They may not have the power you’ll need to run a successful business online. Find a service that’s been around a while, one that doesn’t charge a fortune every month, and one that is reliable with up time of 99% or greater.

Then, it’s a matter of driving traffic to your squeeze page. There are tons of great ways to do it, but blogging, article marketing, and forum postings are three free and easy ways to get started.

But before you drive traffic, email marketing systems need a series of follow-up messages. You should use these to bond with the people who signed up for your list. In the beginning, send them highly selective informational messages. Try to think of problems that people in your niche are having and offer solutions. You might include a P. S. at the bottom of each email to direct people to a product that solves the issue you wrote about, or you could just send a sales message for a product that applies to your niche every few messages.

That’s all you have to do! Once you have that all set up and in motion, people will be signing up for your list and buying from you 24/7. There’s no doubt that email marketing systems are the bomb!
